Managing internal investigations in the new normal: Legal ethics considerations

Please join us on October 27 for an interactive CLE discussion to examine legal ethics risks raised by internal investigations. The program will keep you engaged by exploring four hypothetical scenarios with perspectives from across our Litigation and Investigations, White Collar, and Fraud (IWCF) practices, along with our featured guest, Julia Kiechel from Johnson & Johnson.

The 2-hour ethics CLE program will examine how increased remote working may shape ethical obligations that relate to conducting an internal investigation—including efforts to preserve attorney-client privilege and work product protections.

The program will cover the following topics:

  • Managing internal investigations ethically
  • Disclosing information to government investigators
  • Conducting a social media investigation
  • Preparing for remote depositions

Attendance is complimentary for clients and contacts of Hogan Lovells. Contact jessica.bott@hoganlovells.com if you are interested in participating.

CLE: The program is approved for 2 hours of ethics CLE credit in CA, NY, TX, CO, and FL. The application has been submitted in Virginia and is pending. All other jurisdictions will receive a uniform certificate of attendance.
