George, who replaces partner John Cook, joined the firm in 1995, and has over 30 years of trial experience in litigation in state and federal courts and before judicial arbiters across the United States, with a significant emphasis on construction and engineering matters. He was part of the original group of partners who opened the Colorado Springs office more than 25 years ago.
"Jeff has a depth of knowledge about the firm and the Colorado Springs office that make him a great fit to take on this role," said Richard Lorenzo, Regional Managing Partner for the Americas.
Cook will continue his civil litigation practice. "I have thoroughly enjoyed serving as Office Managing Partner for the Colorado Springs office for the last 18 years," he said.
George has been an active member of the Colorado Springs community, having served as a board member of several charitable organizations, including Goodwill of Colorado, Pikes Peak Hospice Foundation, March of Dimes, and Junior League of Colorado Springs Advisory Committee.
