Bodunde Ajenifuja is an associate in the firm's corporate practice in London. He supports international and domestic clients on a wide range of transactions, including public and private M&A, private equity, joint ventures, reorganisations, equity capital raisings and general corporate advisory.  

Bodunde is a dual qualified lawyer, qualified to practice in Nigeria and England. Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, he was an associate in a market leading corporate law firm in Nigeria, where he advised on high value mergers & acquisitions and private equity deals. Bodunde is also a member of the firm's global Africa practice.

Bodunde has substantial experience advising clients in both emerging and developed markets. His experience spans across a number of industry sectors, including financial services, technology, hospitality, life sciences, healthcare, telecommunications and logistics. 

Representative experience

UK Bank on the acquisition of a mortgage issuer and the associated acquisition of a mortgage portfolio of £2bn.

Apis Partners as lead investor on a c. £70 million investment in Moneybox, one of the UK’s fastest-growing and most profitable digital wealth management platforms. 

Global Ports Holding PLC on its US$310m unconditional recommended takeover offer by its majority shareholder, Global Yatırım Holding A.Ş and its related delisting from the London Stock Exchange.

Wanda on its sale of Sunseeker International, a British luxury performance motor yacht manufacturer, to Lionheart and Orienta.

Chevron on its country exit from the Republic of Congo through the sale of Chevron Overseas (Congo) Limited holdings interests in the Nkossa, Nsoko II, Moho-Bilondo and Lianzi fields to Trident Energy

Supponor on its sale to Bruin Capital-backed TGI Sport, a global leader in sports technology and media rights.

HSBC Bank plc on its debt financing of Fortress Investment Group (UK) Ltd.’s £338.3m take-private of Loungers plc.
