She specializes in structured finance and debt capital markets, with a particular focus on securitization transactions (including transactions involving the issuance of partly-paid securities and revolving structures) concerning various classes of assets. Nicoletta has provided guidance in securitization transactions involving distressed assets, such as non-performing loans and UTP, and has assisted in the development of platforms for the sale and management of these assets.
Nicoletta joined Hogan Lovells in December 2024, after earning her degree from the University of Siena in 2021 and completing a Master in Regulation of Financial Activities and Markets at LUISS Guido Carli University in 2023. During her studies, she participated in the Erasmus Program, studying at both the Vrije Universiteit Brussel and the Autonomous University of Madrid. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Political and Legal Sciences at the University Guglielmo Marconi in Rome.
Before joining Hogan Lovells, Nicoletta gained valuable experience working with an Italian law firm as part of its Structured Finance team.
Assistance to illimity and ARECneprix in the structuring of two close-ended AIFs (“Olympus Fund1” and “Olympus Fund2”) aimed at the valorisation of receivables and management of real estate assets.*
Assistance to GWM as investor, in the structuring of a securitization transaction of receivables, including leasing, aimed at enhancing the value of real estate assets underlying the receivables.*
