Andrés is a Counsel in the Real Estate practice in Madrid. His expertise captures all kind of real estate transactions and share deals with underlying real estate. His advice is focused on acquisitions and disposals, sale and leaseback, lease and management agreements, construction and development contracts, licences and planning aspects in relation to all asset classes (mainly hotels, shopping centres, logistic and industrial warehouses, office buildings, student accommodation and data centres).
Likewise, Andrés advises on real estate aspects in the context of real estate finance deals, where he has worked both for lenders and borrowers.
Andrés also has expertise advising banks and investments funds on distressed deals of REOs and NPLs portfolios.
Representative experience
Advising Intrum on the acquisition from Ibercaja of a portfolio of more than six thousand REOs with a net asset value circa EUR 600M.*
Advising Banco de Sabadell on the disposal to Oaktree of the real estate developer company Solvia Desarrollos together with a portfolio of residential assets for an amount of circa EUR 800M.*
Advising Bybrook Capital on the acquisition of two hotels in Catalonia owned by Davidson Kempner.*
Advising Banco Santander, BNP Paribas and Citibank on the real estate aspects in relation to the refinancing of a portfolio of more than fifty hotels owned by HIP controlled by Blackstone.*
Advising Tilden Park on the acquisition from Lone Star of a portfolio of more than one thousand REOs with a net asset value circa EUR 200M.*
Advising Aermont Capital on the disposal to GIC of its share in the student accommodation group The Social Hub.*
Advising Blackstone on the real estate aspects in relation to the financing to Brookfield of the acquisition of Selenta hotel group and Hotel Princesa Madrid.*
Advising Liberbank on the disposal to Bain Capital of a portfolio of more than five thousand properties with a net asset value circa EUR 600M.*
