Due to his many years of experience as an external DPO for global pharmaceutical companies, he has extensive experience. His regular participation in meetings with representatives from Compliance, Medical Affairs, Clinical Operations, and other departments, along with his close involvement in the planning and implementation of strategic group-wide projects as DPO, has provided him with in-depth knowledge of industry-specific circumstances, requirements, and current developments. He is particularly adept at navigating the intersection between data protection and the complex regulatory environment in the pharmaceutical and medical products areas.

In the financial sector, David advises clients including banks, payment providers, and fintechs on all aspects of privacy and data laws. He has significant expertise in managing complex multi-jurisdictional compliance projects, providing support when introducing new financial products and services, such as deposits, card products, payment services to the German and EU markets. Furthermore, he advises and leads a regular working group of an industry association for payment and e-money institutions.
