Edgar’s practice spans trademarks, trade names, slogans, industrial designs, plant breeders' rights, and the protection of confidential information and trade secrets. He also deals with copyrights, reserves of rights, and IP defense and enforcement in trials and anti-counterfeiting actions.
He collaborates with international counsel on trademark portfolios and advertising projects. Edgar's clients come from diverse sectors, including consumer goods, beauty, technology, food and beverage, finance, automobile, and sports and entertainment.
Edgar began his IP career at Universal Music Mexico, managing copyrights and complex licenses and agreements. He joined Hogan Lovells in 2011, bringing a wealth of experience to the firm.
