Emma is a counsel knowledge lawyer in the Litigation and Arbitration practice at Hogan Lovells in London. Emma works with our lawyers and clients in relation to their training and knowledge management needs and supports client and business development initiatives in relation to litigation before the English courts.
As the London office's dedicated Litigation Support Lawyer, Emma has significant experience of e-disclosure and the use of technology to assist in the efficient and cost effective management and resolution of disputes. Emma was previously a senior associate in the firm's Construction and Engineering team, handling a variety of complex, high-value disputes for leading international corporations with a focus on the transport and energy industries. Emma's experience ranges from advising a leading international rolling stock supplier on a high profile public procurement challenge before the English High Court, to acting for an Asian multinational in an ICC international arbitration seated in London concerning a joint venture dispute. Emma also has experience of adjudication and ADR.
Representative experience
Advising the employer in ICC arbitration proceedings regarding the defective design, supply, installation and commissioning of a water process treatment system in Serbia.
Advising a major Japanese contractor on a dispute with the owner regarding the construction of a fertilizer plant in Oman (under ICC rules).
Advising a Dubai offshore oil and gas construction company on potential legal action in relation to the construction of an offshore oil facility in Qatar.
