MOVE London 2024
For the 5th time Hogan Lovells is partnering with MOVE London, a tech mobility event that brings together people and companies redefining mobility. Our Hogan Lovells global MOVE team is hosting the “Regulation, Liability & ESG” stream, which looks at the onset of zero emission policies, autonomous and data security legislation, and issues around new mobility insurance, as well as examining the regulatory landscape in this new normal.

Moderated by Hogan Lovells Partner and Global Co-Head Automotive and Mobility Sector Sebastian Polly, this panel will delve into the impact of global regulations on the development of driverless vehicle technology. Together with panelists Jessica Uguccioni, Head of CAM Adoption Strategy at CCAV, Ben Loewenstein, Senior Manager, European Policy & Government Affairs at Waymo, and Lisa Johnson, VP Global Public Affairs at Starship Technologies, they will explore the evolving landscape of autonomous vehicles, highlighting the crucial role of clear legal guidance for manufacturers in meeting the high demand for this innovative technology.

Spotlighting the pivotal role of government policies, this roundtable with Hogan Lovells Director of Government Affairs Robert Gardener and counsel Telha Arshad will explore the complex intersection of geopolitics, climate action, and technological evolution. Delving into energy transition and digitalization, panelists will discuss how government shapes the future of mobility, particularly amidst the rise of EVs and AVs. Panelists will also address ethical supply chains, securing critical minerals, and cybersecurity challenges, as well as the impact of geopolitical competition on Europe’s current business environment.

Moderated by counsel Charles Ford, and together with Flavio Grazian, Project Manager at UITP, Sandeep Shingadia, Director of Strategic Partnerships and Delivery Integration at Transport for West Midlands, Manasa Sridhar Innovation, Manager at Iveco Group, and Cristina Valdés, Head of the Singular projects department at EMT Madrid, this panel will dive into BRT deployments in the urban centres around the world.
