Dmytro acts for States and businesses in international disputes, primarily in investment arbitrations under the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) and the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) rules. He has experience of dispute settlement in the oil and gas, manufacturing and other industrial sectors.
Before joining Hogan Lovells, Dmytro worked as a legal counsel at the Trade Law Bureau, Global Affairs Canada, where he represented the Government of Canada in North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) Chapter Eleven (Investment) disputes, advised on Canada's international trade and investment law obligations, and assisted with negotiations of free trade agreements.
