Jeremy works with government and private sector entities to develop, restructure, and divest large infrastructure assets. He also represents the partners, financiers, and contractors of such entities. Jeremy has managed numerous high profile PPP/PFI projects in the UK and internationally. He has extensive experience negotiating project agreements (including concessions, supply chain, off-take, and security/ancillary arrangements). He assists clients with his deep understanding of risk allocation, and the drivers of successful infrastructure development and investment, including delivering positive social and environmental outcomes, under a range of market conditions.
Jeremy has focused in particular on energy, IT, government accommodation, utilities (such as telecoms, power, waste and water), logistics parks and transport (rail, road, airports and ports).
Jeremy also has experience with privatisations and part privatisations, specifically in the airport and aviation sectors, where he gained experience in establishing and operating regulated entities. His background as a corporate/commercial lawyer, who later focused on EPC work, has also given Jeremy a wealth of experience in establishing joint ventures (in various forms) and advising on EPC/EPCM contracts, and he continues to maintain this focus.
Recently, Jeremy has become focused on the Africa and MENA regions, in particular North Africa, where he has experience with both inbound and outbound Libyan work in the sovereign wealth fund, telecoms, and infrastructure space. Jeremy’s reputation is built on his commitment to his clients, and his determination to ensure clients and colleagues achieve the desired project outcomes.
