Since qualifying in 2013, Lauren has built up a wealth of experience acting on complex real estate matters for investors, developers, occupiers, energy companies, local authorities, and financial institutions. In particular, Lauren specialises in development & regeneration and the retail, food & beverage, and leisure sectors. She has been involved in some of London’s key developments in recent years, including King's Cross, Brent Cross Town, East Bank at the Olympic Park and St James's Market.
Lauren joined Hogan Lovells owing to the strength of its Real Estate department, having previously obtained a degree in Land Economy.
Advising on Related Argent's £8 billion mixed-use development of Brent Cross, London to create 6,700 homes alongside workspace for 25,000 workers, a high street, schools and 50 acres of green space.
Advising on the 67 acre mixed-use development of King's Cross, including on the pre-let of Coal Drops Yard.
Diriyah Company on the development and letting of the flagship retail store for its vast $63bn, 14km2 development of Diriyah in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Acting for Shaftesbury Capital on management of its Carnaby, Seven Dials and Charlotte Street property portfolios, financing transactions and on disposal of its Fitzrovia estate.
Acting for The Crown Estate on redevelopment of the New Zealand Government’s embassy in London, and on negotiation of pre-let restaurant deals at its redevelopment of St James’s Market, London.
Advising the BBC on its music studios in the new cultural & education district in the redeveloped Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Stratford, London.
Acting on a £433m PFI deal on behalf of The Cornwall Council in relation to the provision of waste management services.
