Hogan Lovells appoints partner Mark Brennan as new Global Managing Partner for Digitalization

Washington, D.C., 19 December 2024 – Global law firm Hogan Lovells is pleased to announce that partner Mark Brennan has been appointed to the firm’s newly created position of Global Managing Partner for Digitalization, effective 1 January. Brennan most recently was one of the firm's Sector Leaders, serving as a key member of the firm’s work in the Technology and Telecoms sectors.

Hogan Lovells CEO Miguel Zaldivar said: “In his position as the firm’s first Global Managing Partner for Digitalization, Mark will lead the firm’s internal efforts to harness technology, enhance client service, and drive efficiencies. In his new position, Brennan will oversee a comprehensive global digital strategy focused on our firm’s technology investments, service delivery, and collaboration.

Brennan said: “I am delighted to be taking this new position at a major inflection point in how lawyers and law firms are delivering service to our clients. One of my priorities is to foster an internal culture of digital innovation to enhance productivity, collaboration, and service quality across the firm.”

In addition to having served as a Sector Leader, Brennan also served as the firm’s Lead Innovation Partner and was a founding Chair of the firm’s global Pride+ LGBT+ ally network.

A recognized thought leader, he joined Hogan Lovells in 2007 and has built a global technology regulatory and policy practice focused on privacy and communications, artificial intelligence, online services, and consumer protection issues. He advises clients on matters spanning legislative proposals, regulatory consultations and rulemakings, compliance and product design, and government investigations and enforcement.
