Hogan Lovells advises GP JOULE on the sale of a stake in the Bierbergen wind farm to KGAL

Led by Frankfurt partner Dr Torsten Rosenboom, global law firm Hogan Lovells has advised GP JOULE Projekt GmbH & Co. KG on the sale of a 40 percent stake in the Bierbergen wind farm to investment and asset manager KGAL.

The Bierbergen wind farm in Lower Saxony, co-developed by GP JOULE, will consist of five wind turbines and reach a planned total capacity of 28 MW. The investment marks the fourth joint project between GP JOULE and KGAL in the wind energy sector and underlines both companies' commitment to the energy transition.

As an integrated energy provider, GP JOULE is active in all areas of the energy value chain: from generation to utilisation – and from consulting, financing and project planning to construction and service. KGAL offers investment solutions in photovoltaics, wind power, hydropower, battery storage and green hydrogen.
