Hogan Lovells advises Weezevent Group on the acquisition of a majority stake in Eventix Holding B.V.

The strategic transaction marks a milestone in the European events industry and is expected to strengthen the position of both companies as leading providers of innovative ticketing and event technologies by creating synergies. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.

Eventix is a Dutch company specialising in flexible and innovative self-service ticketing solutions that has established itself as an innovative player in the European events industry. The company offers event organisers a flexible platform for creating and managing ticket shops, complemented by advanced marketing tools and real-time data analysis.

Weezevent, based in France, is a global provider of ticketing, access control and cashless payment solutions. The company supports over 500,000 organisers of all types and sizes worldwide in optimising their processes with innovative technologies. Weezevent is a portfolio company of French Private Equity investor Naxicap Partners.
