We scored ‘Band One’ IP for the Asia Pacific region and in Japan, and were recognized as a leading firm for IP in Greater China and Vietnam by Chambers. Our Life Sciences group is also ranked ‘Band One’ in Asia Pacific and Japan. Among the individual recognitions, Lloyd Parker is recognized as an ‘Eminent Practitioner’ for IP and Frederick Ch’en as a ‘Band One’ individual for IP and Life Sciences in Japan. Partners Zhen (Katie) Feng and Helen Xia are also recognized for IP in Chambers Greater China. The Legal 500 Asia Pacific 2024 ranks our China and Japan IP practices and our China Life Sciences group in ‘Tier One’. Nine individuals in our APAC IP team from a number of jurisdictions across the region have also achieved high rankings. Notably, Zhen (Katie) Feng joined the ‘Hall of Fame’ for Intellectual Property in mainland China and three new ‘Rising Stars’ were recognized, Grace Guo and Yu-An Chang in mainland China, and PJ Kaur in Hong Kong.
