Press releases | 07 February 2025

London, 20 January 2025 – Global law firm Hogan Lovells has joined forces with environmental consultancy Bright Tide to launch Sustain.AI, a groundbreaking accelerator program designed to harness artificial intelligence to tackle urgent environmental challenges. Bringing together innovative AI startups, leading corporations, and investors, Sustain.AI aims to accelerate solutions for reducing carbon emissions, promoting circularity, and reversing biodiversity loss.

“It’s no longer a question of whether AI will transform our world, but in which ways,” said Harry Wright, CEO of Bright Tide. “This program is about showcasing ventures that can lead by example and demonstrate how technological innovation can help build a more sustainable future.”

Through HL BaSE, the pro bono program for social enterprises, Hogan Lovells is providing legal guidance and mentorship to ventures creating innovative solutions for carbon reduction, circularity, and biodiversity protection.

A highlight of the program will be the showcase event in March 2025, where participants will pitch their solutions to potential investors and partners, unlocking funding and growth opportunities.

The cohort features ventures from around the world, spanning sectors such as aquaculture, ESG financing, and regenerative agriculture. Startups include:

  • Wilder Sensing: Biodiversity measurement through sound and AI
  • Ecodetect: AI-powered marine environmental monitoring
  • ATMO Technologies: Decarbonising agriculture through bankable AI solutions
  • Seabex: Optimizing irrigation with AI for sustainable agriculture
  • Loamin: Accelerating regenerative agriculture with geospatial AI
  • Tese Capital: Streamlining ESG reporting with AI

The accelerator will officially launch at Hogan Lovells on 30 January 2025, followed by a month-long virtual program starting on 3 February 2025. Participants will engage in tailored AI workshops and sustainability training, alongside networking opportunities at exclusive in-person events, including a high-profile gathering at the House of Lords on 25 February 2025.

The program concludes on 17 March 2025 with a showcase event at The Crown Estate, where ventures will pitch to an audience of investors, corporate leaders, and policymakers.
