Among our top-ranked practice areas, we were awarded Band 1 ranking in three Global: Multi-Jurisdictional categories, for Data Protection, Dispute Resolution, and Life Sciences.
Our Intellectual Property practice was also ranked in Band 1 for Asia-Pacific, Italy, Japan, and Germany (Patent Litigation and Trade Mark and Unfair Competition). Regional top rankings for Life Sciences came in Asia-Pacific and Europe-Wide, with further Band 1 recognition in the United States (Regulatory / Compliance) and the UK (International and Cross-Border). Our Disputes practice was also top ranked in the UK (International and Cross-Border), and Mexico (Arbitration and Civil & Commercial Litigation). We were named among the “Elite” firms for Privacy & Data Security in the United States.
Among individual lawyers, the firm broke into an elite group with at least 200 individuals ranked. Among those, 19 were ranked in Band 1, with Marie-Aimée de Dampierre, Chair, Lloyd Parker, Regional Managing Partner – Asia-Pacific, and Rahail Ali, Office Managing Partner, Dubai, all achieving “Eminent Practitioner” status.
A total of 171 practice areas were ranked, including in eight areas in which the firm previously had not been ranked. Additionally, 200 individual lawyers were ranked, up from 184 in 2022, with 19 achieving Band 1 recognition, four more than in 2022. Among individual lawyers, 23 were new to the rankings while in total 12 rose in the rankings.
Chambers, an independent ranking organization, bases its findings on law firm submissions followed by in-depth research conducted by its team of researchers. Its team conducts over 220,000 surveys and interviews each year to produce its rankings.
