Hogan Lovells recognised for leading role on two of India Business Law Journals Deals of the Year

Global law firm Hogan Lovells was involved in two of the deals ranked by India Business Law Journal as Deals of the Year in 2024.
These were:
- Advising Nissan on the strategic and legal aspects of the restructuring of its joint India operations with Renault. The Hogan Lovells team advising Nissan was led by Tokyo- based partner Jacky Scanlan-Dyas, with support from counsel Viet Nguyen and associate William Tan.
- US and international counsel on the US$515 million IPO of Waaree Energies, the largest solar module manufacturer in India. The Hogan Lovells team was led by partner Biswajit Chatterjee, with support from counsel Kaustubh George, counsel Verun Jetly, senior associate Aditya Rajput, associates Jayant Bharadwaj and Sanjana Ravjiani, and staff attorney Rosen Chen.
Additionally, three Hogan Lovells lawyers were included in India Business Law Journal’s A-List of International Top Lawyers 2025. This is an annual list of the leading India-focused lawyers at international law firms based on the recommendations of in-house counsel and lawyers at Indian law firms. They are:
- Siew Kam Boon – Office Managing Partner for Singapore and Head of Private Equity in APAC
