Oliver Armas appointed to serve as Member of top-ranked Singapore International Arbitration Centre Court of Arbitration

New York, 7 May 2025 – Hogan Lovells announced today that Oliver (Ollie) Armas, global head of the International Arbitration practice, was appointed by the highly regarded Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) to serve as a Member of the SIAC Court of Arbitration, which is comprised of the world's leading arbitration experts.

Upon learning of his appointment, Armas said: "I'm honored to serve on the SIAC Court, which manages the arbitration of some of the most complex and high-stakes international disputes in the world. Over the years, I have dedicated myself to advancing our International Arbitration practice in the Asia-Pacific market. As one of eleven new Court Members appointed for the 2025 to 2027, Armas will be responsible for appointing arbitrators and overseeing case administration in international disputes before the SIAC. This prestigious appointment reflects his reputation as a leader in international arbitration, and underscores the firm's global leadership and influence in this field – particularly in the competitive Asia-Pacific market. The SIAC is ranked second among the top five arbitral institutions in the world and is the leading choice in the Asia-Pacific region.

Armas, Global Head of the International Arbitration practice since 2020, is highly sought after for resolving complex domestic and international disputes, across various sectors.
