Andrés graduated top of his class and summa cum laude from Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey. He also studied diverse aspects of international law in Madrid, Spain at Universidad Pontificia Comillas. Andrés is passionate of the Arts and seeks to reconcile his passion to his law practice in trial advocacy and legal design. He was awarded by his alma mater for his contributions to Arts and Culture and has received diverse recognitions for his oral trial advocacy skills at domestic and international arbitration competitions.
Since joining Hogan Lovells, Andrés has represented and advised clients in complex domestic and international disputes. He focuses his practice in diverse industries, including construction, energy, infrastructure, automotive, insurance, IT, health sciences, amongst others.
Andrés is currently professor of law at Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey where he teaches introduction to law and legal argumentation. He is also head coach of the arbitration team at ITESM and advises students of other universities to prepare for oral trail advocacy competitions.
