Natalie Perez advises clients in various industries on developing privacy compliance strategies that are tailored to their business goals and risk tolerance. She also counsels clients on cybersecurity matters, including security practice assessments and compliance with US-state and international security laws and regulations. By providing strategic, practical advice, Natalie assists clients to find a path forward that enables them to achieve their business goals.
Natalie has experience advising on compliance with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), among other privacy and security laws. Her background as a management consultant and counsel at an early-stage technology startup enables her to deliver practical, business-minded advice and to assist clients in operationalizing their compliance programs. As part of her practice, Natalie has also negotiated data transfer and processing agreements and advised on corporate transactions.
Prior to joining Hogan, she worked as an associate in the privacy and cybersecurity practice of a large global law firm.
