Hogan Lovells 2024 Election Impact and Congressional Outlook Report
The Ministry of Labor announces renewal process for specialized services providers (REPSE).
On February 21, 2024, the Labor Ministry published the guidelines to follow for the REPSE renewal. This comes in the aftermath of the 2021 labor reform, which introduced stricter rules for subcontracting specialized services. This REPSE license was initially valid for 3 years and now specialized service providers must be prepared for its first renewal. The renewal must be done three months prior to the expiration of the REPSE. The following timeframes must be observed according to the date in which the REPSE was obtained.
Month in which REPSE was obtained (2021) |
Months in which renewal is due (2024) |
June |
March to May |
July |
April to June |

If the renewal is not processed in the timeframes established above, the REPSE will be cancelled.
The REPSE renewal must be done through the official web platform, within the timeframes described above.
Important to consider the following, among others:
The Labor Ministry will have a 20 business day window to resolve the renewal request. If this is not done, applicants must request the Labor Ministry to issue the renewal notice within the following 3 business days. If afterwards no response is given by the authority the renewal will be granted automatically.
Hogan Lovells is ready to assist you with this matter.
