Alejandro was part of the tax and administrative litigation team at Hogan Lovells Mexico for several years and successfully transitioned to the Real Estate and M&A team in the Monterrey office, his background allows him to have a deeper insight into Real Estate and M&A transactions from a public affairs and litigation prevention perspective. He currently focuses his practice on commercial advice to clients engaged in the real estate, automotive, hygiene and food industries in the review of commercial contracts, M&A transactions, as well as the acquisition, leasing, management, and sale of various assets.
Representative experience
Advised a Canadian company in the acquisition, through its Mexican subsidiary, of a largescale property in Mexico, as well as the financing of such acquisition through a cross-border loan.
Advised a major real estate developer in the acquisition of several industrial properties for development and commercialization in northeastern Mexico.
Advised a US-based aircraft manufacturer in the divestment of its operations outside Mexico through the sale of its assets and rendering of transitional services to the purchaser.
Advised various clients, both as landlords and tenants, in the negotiation, drafting and review of lease agreements with built-to-suit construction for industrial projects.
