Ashley Ruhe focuses her practice on government contracts litigation and helping clients navigate complex procurement issues. With a diverse legal background, she provides clients with a tailored approach to their unique challenges.

After receiving her Master of Laws in Government Procurement, Ashley led the Acquisition Fraud program for the United States Air Force JAG Corps, where she oversaw investigations and advised both the Department of Justice and Air Force attorneys worldwide on allegations involving Buy America violations, contract steering, and counterfeit parts. Following this role, she led a team of attorneys at the Air Force Contract Litigation Branch, where she also litigated her own portfolio of bid protests and claims.

Prior to litigating government contracts disputes, Ashley led multiple trials in both criminal and civil forums. She spent 10 years as a Judge Advocate in the United States Air Force, including a deployment to Africa. She tried cases resulting in convictions for violations of the Uniform Code of Military Justice. Ashley also tried several cases involving administrative discharge from Active Duty for misconduct. While appointed as a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Department of Justice, Ashley handled all matters related to federal offenses committed on Patrick Air Force Base, Florida. Before her entry onto Active Duty, Ashley represented hundreds of clients in custody and divorce proceedings before the Family Court while working for South Carolina Legal Services. While there, she dedicated a portion of her work to helping survivors of domestic violence obtain civil relief.
