He assists and represents French and international companies on both transaction and litigation matters, particularly in the sectors of digital publishing and advertising, e-Commerce, FinTech, online services and media (incl. harmful content blocking and protection of minors), mobility, real estate and luxury industries.
Rémy advises French, European and global clients in their compliance with GDPR and ePrivacy regulations, as well as applicable legislations governing non-personal data, through due diligences, investigations, data transfer and data sharing risk assessments, data transfer agreements, privacy policies, records of processing activities. His expertise also includes assistance with cyber security, data breach and incident response management, notifications, as well as cyber crisis.
Similarly, Rémy assists with implementing and complying with the recent European legislative package on digital services as well as texts governing competition and transparency of digital activities, and reinforcing cyber resilience obligations (AI Act, DSA, DMA, DGA, Data Act, DORA, NIS2 etc.). He is also actively involved since the very beginning in AI projects management, governance, and compliance, as well as their contractual implementation.
Besides, Rémy also assists clients in their contractual strategy for the distribution of mobile and location-based applications, crypto asset and financial services, as well as the purchase of IT and Cloud services, software licensing or the protection of intellectual property assets, notably through distribution and licensing agreements, drafting of general terms and conditions and related complex negotiations.
Rémy was admitted to the Paris Bar in 2021. Before joining Hogan Lovells, he was an associate in a "boutique" law firm focusing on Data and IT matters and worked for several years for a US law firm.
