Representative experience

Advise Aeromexico in connection with negotiations of a joint-venture alliance agreement with Delta Air Lines, and obtaining approval and the grant of antitrust immunity for the joint venture.

Advise Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA on its enhanced equipment trust certificate (EETC) financing of ten new B737-800 aircraft and the related bridge financing.

Advise Virgin America in obtaining airport slots and gates related to the settlement of a lawsuit the DOJ brought against the merger of American Airlines and US Airways.

Assist CNN to secure the first-ever FAA waiver to legally fly UASs in the U.S. for news gathering and reporting activities over people.

Advise UK Export Finance on the capital markets aspects of a US$913m Sukuk issuance for the acquisition of four Airbus aircraft.

Assist several UAS manufacturers and operators on aviation regulatory issues affecting this emerging industry.

Advise two airlines in antitrust damages claims brought in relation to a cartel in the air cargo market in the UK, the Netherlands, Germany, and the U.S.

Represent DVB on a US$400m warehouse facility provided by Deutsche Bank for the acquisition of a portfolio of over 20 aircraft on lease to a range of airlines.

Counsel Aerion Corporation on FAA and International Civil Aviation Organization noise and certification matters in connection with Aerion’s plans to develop a supersonic business jet.
