Nathan’s work includes counseling on the intellectual property aspects of mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, due diligence processes, and commercial arrangements. This includes drafting contracts capturing commercialization of key intellectual property such as distribution, service, and supply agreements. Additionally, Nathan’s pro bono practice covers counseling on financial regulatory compliance, refugee matters, trademarks, and non-profit matters.
Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Nathan counseled on the legal aspects of central bank digital currencies at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston and advised a non-profit on the legal financial product design of a stablecoin-based local currency. Prior to entering law school, he taught high school physics and math in Houston, Texas and researched science education and communication at a leading teacher’s training college in Asia.
