Femi Williams is an associate in the Global Products Law team in the Hogan Lovells London office. His contentious work concerns complex investigations and disputes arising out of highly regulated industries, such as the automotive and life science sectors. In terms of his regulatory work, Femi has experience of advising various types of product manufacturers in relation to multi-jurisdictional product safety and compliance issues, and product recalls.
Representative experience
Acting for a major German automotive manufacturer in group-litigation involving questions of UK consumer and competition law and questions on the application of EU regulations post-Brexit.
Acting for various pharmaceutical manufacturers in inquest investigations where the manufacturers have been named as an interested person.
Advising engine manufacturers on their interactions with market surveillance and type approval authorities in respect of vehicle testing and investigations.
Advising a global sports equipment manufacturer in relation to product safety and compliance issues.
Advising a manufacturer of agricultural vehicles and machinery in relation to various aspects of the product recall process, including the risk assessment and notification requirements.
