Giovanni is full professor of international law and international litigation at the University of Naples Federico II, Italy. He holds a PhD (University of Naples Federico II – with honours) and a LLM with distinction (Queen Mary University of London). In 2019 he was visiting professor at the Max Planck Institute for Private International Law in Hamburg.
He is author of five books (in matters of international arbitration and private international law, while a sixth - "The Award in International Commercial Arbitration, co-authored with A. Carlevaris for OUP - is forthcoming) and more than seventy scientific articles published in primary international academic journals.
