Patrick is a Senior Associate in the London Restructuring & Special Situations team.  He advises funds, investment banks, financial institutions and corporates in respect of complex restructuring situations, court-driven restructuring processes and formal insolvencies.  

His experience has covered a broad range of sectors including financial services, infrastructure and PFI projects, real estate, retail institutions and motor vehicles in both domestic and cross-border situations.  Patrick also has experience advising on commercial disputes.

Representative experience

Advising a debt fund on the refinancing via secured private note issuance of Croatian food retailer Fortenova’s c. €1.2bn existing facilities

Advising a clearing bank on the high-profile restructuring of a £1bn+ exposure to the Telegraph and other businesses owned by the Barclay family

Advising a major creditor on Part 26A restructuring plan in respect of Tameside Hospital

Advising creditors in respect of Part 26A restructuring plans for high profile German property groups Adler and Aggregate

Advising a development finance institution in respect of the potential insolvency and the corporate restructuring of an African water infrastructure joint venture

Advising a performance bonding provider in respect of the Petrofac Part 26A restructuring plan 

Advising the Joint Administrators in respect of the insolvency of the Tenet Group
