Daniel Mattig is a counsel in the Private Equity team at Hogan Lovells, seamlessly combining innovative thinking with market-recognized legal expertise. Daniel advises leading private equity firms, investors, and corporations on complex national and cross-border transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, and corporate restructuring.

He has been recognized by JUVE as one of the “40 under 40” in Corporate/Private Equity and by JUVE Handbuch Wirtschaftskanzleien as a “Rising Star” (“Aufsteiger”) for M&A – the latter, a distinction awarded to only six professionals in Germany. In addition to his legal advisory role, Daniel serves as Global Strategic Development Counsel Corporate & Finance at ELTEMATE, Hogan Lovells’ technology company. Here, he focuses on advancing the use of cutting-edge solutions, particularly generative AI, to address critical challenges at the intersection of transaction law and technology.
