Dr. Maximilian Menges is a partner in our Hamburg office and advises international and national clients on M&A transactions, joint ventures and management equity participations. His focus is on advising in connection with private equity transactions.
Maximilian has more than 10 years of experience in the M&A/PE field. He started his career as a lawyer at Latham & Watkins in San Diego, USA and later transferred internally to their Hamburg office before joining EY Law in 2018, where he built up and later on headed the German private equity practice.
Clients appreciate his pragmatic and solution-oriented approach and his talent for explaining difficult issues in simple terms. Maximilian is listed as “frequently recommended” in the Juve Handbook and has been recognized as one of Germany's “Best Lawyers” by Handelsblatt for many years.
