Michael Rose is a partner in our Munich office. His practice focuses on corporate, takeover and securities law advice to listed companies. In addition, he regularly advises clients on M&A transactions, corporate restructurings and joint ventures. He is also a permanent corporate law advisor of the board of several listed companies.
Clients appreciate his practical answers and his pragmatic approach (Legal 500 Germany 2019).
For years Michael has been recognized as leading lawyer for corporate law by Legal 500, JUVE, Best Lawyers, Acritas and Kanzleimonitor.
Michael is also the author of many publications in the area of corporate law. Inter alia he is author and co-publisher of the Beck-handbook Reasons for the annulment of shareholder resolutions under the German Stock Corporation Act.
Michael graduated from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München with a degree in law. He wrote his doctoral thesis on the liability of a proxy exercising votes in general meetings of German stock corporations. In 2007, Michael was seconded to our offices in Frankfurt am Main, Hong Kong and Beijing. During his professional training, Michael worked, inter alia, in our London office.
