Thomas' practice focuses on commercial, corporate and insolvency-related disputes, in particular in the construction and engineering, industrials, automotive, energy and infrastructure sectors. His clients - from leading industrial companies to international investors - value his understanding of technical and commercial issues and his precise and strategic approach.
Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Thomas co-headed the dispute resolution practice of an international law firm in Düsseldorf. He is co-author of the series “corporates in crisis and insolvency” in a leading legal journal and wrote his doctoral thesis in the field of consumer insolvency. He worked for several years in the field of insolvency administration.
