“Hogan Lovells has long had one of the leading Health practices in Washington, D.C. and we are thrilled to welcome Maura to the firm,” said Janice Hogan, Practice Group Leader – Global Regulatory & IP. “Her ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and advocate for impactful policy changes positions her as a key resource for clients seeking to thrive in the ever-evolving health care landscape."
Throughout her career, Maura has represented and collaborated with various stakeholders across the health care sector, including payers, drug and device manufacturers, health technology firms, hospitals, academic medical centers, patient advocacy groups, trade associations, and State Medicaid agencies.
“We are excited to welcome Maura to the team,” said Ron Wisor, Practice Area Leader – Health. “Maura has played a pivotal role in several significant regulatory actions that have shaped the health care landscape. Bringing Maura on board further strengthens our practice and our ability to serve clients in the health care and life sciences sector.”
Calsyn possesses in-depth experience in critical areas such as Medicare, Medicaid, the federal health insurance marketplace established by the Affordable Care Act, drug pricing, and federal public health and human services programs.
Calsyn said: “Hogan Lovells’ Health practice is consistently recognized as a market leader, and I am excited about joining this innovative team. I look forward to advising clients on opportunities to advance in the market and cultivating the next generation of Health partners at the firm.”
While at HHS, Calsyn collaborated closely with various agencies, including the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).
