Cynthia assists national and international clients in designing and marketing their products in accordance with the complex regulatory framework in the EU. She advises, in particular, on market access and conduct rules, product labeling and information obligations. She has a distinct focus on e-commerce as well as consumer protection and sustainability (ESG) topics.
Furthermore, Cynthia advises companies on drafting individual contracts in commercial relationships, including the allocation of responsibilities in distribution systems and supply chains, as well as on drafting B2B and B2C general terms and conditions.
Cynthia studied law in Berlin and Rome. Subsequently, she wrote her doctoral thesis on a topic related to competition and distribution law. During her legal clerkship, she deepened her expertise in competition law and gained valuable experience at the German Federal Ministry of Justice regarding the implementation of national and European legislation and namely the implementation of EU directives against unfair B2C commercial practices. Before joining Hogan Lovells, Cynthia worked as an Associate specializing in intellectual property at an international law firm in Berlin.
