Yu-An is an intellectual property lawyer based in Shanghai, with extensive experience advising both multinational and Chinese companies on a broad spectrum of contentious and non-contentious IP matters.  He focuses on delivering practical solutions to help clients protect, manage, and commercialize their IP assets.

Yu-An has extensive experience advising clients on technology-driven commercial transactions, including joint ventures, strategic collaborations, licensing and technology transfers, as well as service, sourcing, distribution, and marketing arrangements, and IP aspects of mergers and acquisitions, IPOs, corporate restructurings, investments, and financing transactions. He supports clients on both inbound and outbound deals and is skilled in conducting IP due diligence, assesing related risks, and adivsng on pre- and post-closing actions.

Yu-An also regularly works with clients across a range of industries on developing and implementing practical IP protection strategies, and managing IP enforcement and litigation matters. Over the years, he has acted for numerous IP owners in sectors including technology, life sciences and healthcare, education, manufacturing, and retail.
